The catalog
for every agent
ever built

Pinakes is the trust and discovery layer for multi-agent AI. An open ecosystem where third-party agents connect, compose, and access the full breadth of human knowledge.

The Name

Named for the first catalog of all recorded knowledge

Library of Alexandria, c. 245 BCE

Callimachus compiled the Pinakes: 120 volumes indexing every scroll in the Library of Alexandria. Author, subject, first line, location. The ancient world's first metadata system. It made 500,000 scrolls findable, trustable, and useful.

Today's AI agents face the same challenge at a different scale. Millions of agents, built by thousands of teams, with no shared system for discovery, trust, or composition. Pinakes is the infrastructure that makes them all work together.

Infrastructure

The connecting glue for the agent economy

Third parties build the agents. Third parties build the apps. Pinakes provides the infrastructure that makes it all trusted, discoverable, and composable.

01 REGISTRY

Agent Discovery

A universal registry where agents declare their capabilities, constraints, and trust credentials. MCP-native, protocol-agnostic, built for the open ecosystem.

02 TRUST

Verified Identity

Every agent carries verifiable trust metadata. Who built it, what it can access, how it's been audited. Trust is infrastructure, not an afterthought.

03 COMPOSITION

Multi-Agent Orchestration

Agents from different builders, different frameworks, different organizations, working together through a shared composition layer. The reef that connects the ecosystem.

Not another framework.
The ecosystem itself.

Not a framework like CrewAI Not a model hub like Hugging Face Not an enterprise registry Not crypto-native

Think of Pinakes as an ocean reef, a record label, a publishing house for AI agents. The organisms are diverse and independent. The reef is what makes them an ecosystem instead of a collection.

ΠΙΝΑΚΕΣ

All the knowledge of the human race, organized for the age of agents

The Library of Alexandria collected scrolls. Pinakes made them useful. We're doing the same thing for the billions of AI agents that will define the next decade of computing.
